Emergency First Aid for the Workplace (EFAW)
This course is a lifesaver course, giving participants essential lifesaving emergency techniques. Course covers the minimum emergency First Aid requirements as set out by the HSE for the new legislation changes to be implemented in October 2009.
Suitable for: Any Workplace.
Duration: Minimum of 6 hours.

First Aid at Work (FAW)
This is the HSE standard First Aid course for the workplace.
Suitable for: Any Workplace (Mandatory for larger and higher risk workplaces).
Duration: 18 hours over 3 days. Starting 1st October.

Resuscitation (CPR) Training
This yearly update is mandatory for doctors' surgeries and professions allied to medicine. It can be run at your practice.
Suitable for: GP/Dental surgeries.
Duration: Minimum 3 hours

This meets the criteria for effective paediatric training set out in the Early Year Foundation Stage Practice Guidance
Suitable for: Primary schools, nurseries, child minders, those with a duty of care for young children.
Duration: Minimum 12 hours.

First Aid for Carers
This is an informal one day course designed for new mothers or those who act as carers at home. Basic skills are learned in a relaxed atmosphere. Subjects covered will include basic life support (CPR), choking and care of the unconscious casualty.
Suitable for: Parents, assistant nursery workers and baby sitters.
Duration: Minimum 6 hours

Outdoor First Aid
This course meets the requirements for instructors with NGB awards including ML & SPA. It is also suitable for persons working in remote and outdoor environments.
Suitable for: Outdoor instructors and outdoor enthusiasts, Sports coaches.
Duration: 16 hours

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
A readily available and easily operated Automated External Defibrillator (AED), at the scene, in the hands of a trained operator can enormously increase the chance of surviving sudden cardiac arrest. This course will enable you to make a life-saving difference
Suitable for: Persons with an automated external defibrillator at the workplace.
Duration: Half-day.
