Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Electrical Defibrillation is well established as the effective therapy for cardiac arrest, the most important determinant of survival being the time from collapse to delivery of the first shock. Today the widespread deployment of Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) is considered a realistic strategy for reducing mortality due to heart disease.
Persons using an AED should recieve regular training - it is recommended by the resuscitaiton council that this should be at least yearly and preferably more often
The following 'Automated External Defibrillator (AED)' courses are available
It it is important an individual is trained using the same model of AED as they will have to use in their workplace in an emergency situation. For that reason we only run this course in-house. Our courses include updates on basic life support as well as use of the AED.

If are considering purchasing an AED for your company, please contact us and we will support you in working out what is necessary for you to make this happen.
