First Aid for Carers

This course is designed with parents, assistant nursery workers and baby sitters in mind. This is an interactive course designed to be informative as well as practical. By the end of the course the candidate will have knowledge of practical first aid skills in relation to children. The length of this course is around six hours. Normally a certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of this course. However, for those employed in the child care setting this course can be adjusted to cover the minimum requirements of the Appointed Person and therefore could be certificated as such.

Emergency First Aid For Parents and Child Carers

If you don't have to comply with OFSTED requirements we also offer a shorter 6 hour \'Emergency First Aid For Parents and Child Carers' course, that covers basic life saving and first aid for babies, children and adults. It is essentially Life Saving First Aid tailored to the small child. It comprises the contents of day one of the Emergency (Paediatric) Course.

No previous experience necessary Continuously assessed. Valid for three years.
